How to find out the read write speed of your SD card

Does any one know how to do this cause there seems to be alot of talk about it. i can analyze my SD card and post it on the forums. I can also post this on the wiki along with other stuff to do with SD cards like mounting.

Would it be a good idea to put all the SD cards that work with the sheeva plug on a wiki page? I can keep it updated as long people told me the following

make of the SD card
read write speed
size
