My plug was working via the alpha-6 release. I wanted to try debian and the instructions told me that I needed to ugrade my uboot first.
I followed those instructions and now my plug won't boot. (I'm sure I messed it up.)

Could someone point me to a step-by-step tutorial on how to get my plug back to a working state (booting from flash):
1) Original Marvell configuration
or
2) Installer alpha-6
or
3) Installer 1.0

To complicate matters, my linux machine died but I think I could use Portable Ubuntu Remix on a Windows XP box if necessary.

(Also if there is a document that explains the u-boot process that would be a bonus. All I know is to follow via rote the instructions relating to setting env variables, etc.)

Thanks,
~Joe

If you still have the USB stick you used for the initial installation and have serial console access to the boot loader, just plug the stick execute 'run recover1' at the Marvell prompt. This will reinstall Ubuntu, repopulating the root file system.

I tried as you suggested and it appears to work.

Thank you very much!
