I'd like to compile drivers for a Sitecom WL-608 wireless USB adapter, based on the Ralink rt2870 chipset.

I'm working with the kernel from the Sheevaplug Installer v1.0, but to compile the drivers it needs the kernel source in /lib/modules/2.6.30.2/build, which is a broken symlink. Is there anyone who can tell me how to get the kernel source for the Sheevaplug Installer v1.0, to fix the symlink?

I have tried to download the 2.6.30.2 source from kernel.org and patch it with patches from http://sheeva.with-linux.com/sheeva/, using 'patch -i FILENAME', but the patching didn't work and when I used 'make' to compile the drivers, it gave me many more errors.

I have tried to upgrade my kernel using the newest from http://sheeva.with-linux.com/sheeva/ but that doesn't have the kernel source so it didn't help at all.

Do I need to build my own kernel or is there any way I can aquire the kernel source for the Sheevaplug Installer?
Is there any way plugcomputer.org can upload the kernel source?

Or, is there anybody who has a direct link to an online store to buy a wifi dongle that will work out-of-the-box?

If you still want to recompile your own kernel, you can also see my post here: http://plugcomputer.org/plugforum/index.php?topic=761.0
