Where are drivers for web cams for sheevaplug?

The uvc video drivers for web cams are reported to be included in Ubuntu, but appear not to be available on the Sheevaplug.  I have not been able to find anything in the repositories which seems appropriate.  How does one load the modules which will recognize web cams?  lsusb shows:

"ls /dev/video*" shows nothing, as does "dmesg | grep video".

I plug a camera in and dmesg throws errors (not good).

lsusb shows nothing. bummer. This is plugging the camera into a hub without a reboot. Maybe the hub I have _is_ usb 1. Same hub does not say the usb mem stick is slow, but that may be the device... I have noticed that the usb device keeps incrementing with each insert/removal. Started at 6, now at 15. Uses about 3 addresses each time it is plugged in.

You may have to compile the kernel modules and insert them as you need.
