I'm trying to make the green led blink.  So far I can turn it on and off using this method:

devmem2 0xf1010140 w 0x0 to turn on
devmem2 0xf1010140 w 0x20000 to turn off

I have not figured out a way yet with devmem2 to control the red led either.  Anyone know how to make the green led blink?

I have green and blue LEDs and the blue one is controllable (safely) from software, like this:

    echo "default-on" > /sys/class/leds/plug\:green\:health/trigger

or

    echo "heartbeat" > /sys/class/leds/plug\:green\:health/trigger

or

    echo "none" > /sys/class/leds/plug\:green\:health/trigger

Rgds

Hey DamonHD,

I'm using the marvell kernel which is 2.6.22.18, and when I enable LED support built in the kernel there are no folders in the /sys/class/leds/ folder.  That method doesn't seem to work in this case for me.

hi
i'm using the blue led for know if ssh is started (cause i still have the cold boot problem on SD )
by default when the plug start the led goes on (maybe we can change this in u-boot ?)
so i make blinking the led when ssh is started, I'm running debian 2.6.32-5 and i no have the trigger "heartbeat" I use the trigger "timer"
in /etc/init.d/ssh I put the lines
-case start-
echo "timer" > /sys/class/leds/plug\:green\:health/trigger
echo 1000 > /sys/class/leds/plug\:green\:health/delay_on
echo 2000 > /sys/class/leds/plug\:green\:health/delay_off
-case stop-
echo "none" > /sys/class/leds/plug\:green\:health/trigger

Now I'm sure my plug is started and I can connect with ssh Smiley

On the guruplug the line needs to read:

/sys/class/leds/guruplug\:green\:health/trigger

Otherwise same as Sheeva.

Cheers
