How is the pim manager (tonido workspace) because that's the only thing i would be interested in.
Does someone else know a webbased pimmanager?

What is it?  I tried finding out on their website, but it's unusable.  I gave up.

You can download their software for free and run it on your PC / MAC / Linux computer. Give it a try !!
That's what I did before I purchased the software.

I bought their version for the Sheeva. It works quite well and fast. They are still developing the application(s). Especially for non linux gurus this is a nice addition.

Sounds interesting but does the Tonido Sheevaplug version only run with the preinstalled Ubuntu in the NAND? I am running Debian Lenny installed from Martin Milchmayr's tar ball on an usb hdd. Would Tonido also run from usb hdd? Any side effects with other software which is already installed? Any chance to test Tonido on the Sheevaplug before purchasing a license?

Tom,
I run it on Ubuntu with Installer 1.0 that just came out. The software comes in .deb package so I am sure you can try to install it on Debian and see if it works. Be default it's installed in /usr/local  directory.

 Here is the download link

The version for the sheevaplug is licensed, it costs 29 dollar. I don't think they will be happy if you provide a download link. Besides that i don't think it will work because when you setup an account they check your plug's mac address. If it is not registered it might not work.
