Hardware Changes in newer versions

Have they moved the network socket further away from the USB in newer revisions?

I saw http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:SheevaPlug_with_external_drive_enclosure.jpg and noticed it looked different to mine

The usb is right next to the network adapter on mine


(would make more sense to me, more room to plug bulkier usb sticks/plugs in)

I have an old one and a new one. The USB is right next to the ethernet on the old one and about an inch away on the new one.

The space between the network and USB sockets has been increased in the latest version to reduce the possibility of either device creating interference which could effect the other connection.

Also, it allows larger usb memory cards, etc to be added. Some of the usb memory sticks are pretty wide.

I looked inside and it looks like, that there is planned another socket   (2nd net interface or eSata maybe?)
