I've recently installed debian lenny on my sheevaplug using the instructions from Martin Michlmayr at
http://www.cyrius.com/debian/kirkwood/sheevaplug/unpack.htmlI used a small external USB harddrive (a 40 Gb 2,5'' disc) - no problems.
But when I try the same thing using a 1 TB external usb disc, the plug won't find any usable partitions to boot.
I've installed lenny on the first primary partition. The partition works fine from my desktop box.
