Hello Smiley ! Well wireless on my sheevaplug is working, thanks to help here ( http://plugcomputer.org/plugforum/index.php?topic=624.0) and after installing lighttp ( http://www.plugcomputer.org/plugwiki/index.php/QuickStart ) I'm wondering is there way to ftp or sftp into the sheeva? I found that sftp is installed on the sheeva, but I don't know the password to get into it (it's not nosoup4u) and I'm not sure if I can get to the directory (/var/www) lighttp uses via sftp. Can anyone help?

Thanks

That is the password, but you have to tell it to be root if you aren't on the client system, so
Quote
sftp root@plug
To ftp in you'd have to install an ftp server (run apt-cache search ftpd)

If you realy want to hav an ftp server try http://www.pureftpd.org/project/pure-ftpd
It has a better security track record and a very save initial config. Memory footprint is lower then proftpd.

I would go for sftp all the time. OpenSSH has a sftp subsystem, so if you can ssh in, you can do sftp with the same user/password.
