ok.

I have Dreamplug and I'm having a weird issue. I configured a static IP for eth0 and eth1 (1 for 1 subnet and a one for a another). When the device is booting i can ping those IP's, but during the end of the boot sequence eth0 changes it's IP address. When I look at the router's dhcp client leases I see Dreamplug listed. Any on have any idea on how to fix this. By the way i'm using the debian squeeze distribution.

Here is the /etc/networking/interfaces file

Code:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
       address 192.168.202.18
       netmask 255.255.255.0
       network 192.168.202.0
       broadcast 192.168.202.255
       gateway 192.168.202.254

auto eth1
iface eth1 inet static
       address 192.168.9.18
       netmask 255.255.255.0
       network 192.168.9.0
       broadcast 192.168.9.255
       gateway 192.168.9.254

This is really starting to bug me. So any help is greatly apperciated.

Is that a typo?  The file should be /etc/network/interfaces.
At least that's where mine is.
