wifi with old dreamplug models with 3.7.6 kernel?

I still have the "older" dreamplug model, serial number starting D2-1122 and I'm starting to get wifi running. I understand that it's quite easy for the new ones that can use mwifiex, but what exactly do I have to do, to get it running on the older model? Currently a debian squeeze is installed with the 3.7.6 kernel from here
