D2plug as access point

I received a new D2 plug recently and when i booted it up, i do not see the wifi light on?. I a used to the dreamplug which upon bootup, auto starts the access point mode

has anyone successfully made their d2plug work as access point?

as I know ,currently ,wireless at d2plug just has client mode
