Does anyone know why hostapd is no longer provided for armel in the latest wheezy?

According to the Packages file for wheezy, initscripts breaks versions < 1:0.7.3-3.
But don't ask me for anything beyond that....

I built hostapd and wpa_supplicant from the source and it seems to be working ok(so far).
