[003-SP1001] Recommended upgrade from 9.04?

I'd like to upgrade a SheevaPlug 003-SP1001 from the Ubuntu 9.04 it shipped with.

At this point, which distro would you recommend? I read that Debian is a good solution, but what about the other main distros?
