Hi ,

I am trying to make GuruPlug communicate with an Android Phone over Bluetooth using RFCOMM Socket.
The same RFCOMM code work fine when compiled and run on x86 Ubuntu. Android application is able to communicate with the x86 Ubuntu successfully.

After pairing Andorid Phone with GuruPlug when I try to connect from Android Phone to RFCOMM Socket on GuruPlug, the request comes in to GuruPlug but it errors out.

Here is what I see in syslog on the plug :

Jan 19 15:41:44 gPlug bluetoothd[1817]: src/adapter.c:adapter_get_device() adapter_get_device(CD:F0:E8:89:B3:89)

Jan 19 15:41:44 gPlug bluetoothd[1817]: src/security.c:link_key_request() link key type = 0x05
Jan 19 15:41:45 gPlug bluetoothd[1817]: link_key_request (sba=11:25:23:3D:EF:8F, dba=CD:F0:E8:89:B3:89)

Jan 19 15:41:45 gPlug bluetoothd[1817]: src/security.c:link_key_request() link key type = 0x05
Jan 19 15:42:15 gPlug bluetoothd[1817]: Disconnection failed: 0x22

Any help/pointer is highly appreciated.

Thanks !!

I was able to make RFCOMM Socket work with a USB BT dongle from Belkin. This uses btusb driver. Are there any know issues with btmrvl_sdio driver ?

I am still using the default kernel ( 2.6.32.2 ) that Plug was shipped with.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks !!!
