Hi All, my sheeva bricked after trying to update to ubuntu 11 or so (I know, I am an idiot, I should have read the forum before upgrading since this is not working)
So, I get currently:
mmc0: host does not support reading read-only switch. assuming write-enable.
mmc0: new high speed SDHC card at address b368
mmcblk0: mmc0:b368 SDC 7.46 GiB
device=eth0, addr=192.168.0.77, mask=255.255.255.0, gw=192.168.0.11,
host=DB88FXX81, domain=, nis-domain=(none),
bootserver=192.168.0.11, rootserver=192.168.0.11, rootpath=
EXT3-fs: barriers not enabled
kjournald starting. Commit interval 5 seconds
EXT3-fs (mmcblk0p1): using internal journal
EXT3-fs (mmcblk0p1): recovery complete
EXT3-fs (mmcblk0p1): mounted filesystem with writeback data mode
VFS: Mounted root (ext3 filesystem) on device 179:1.
Freeing init memory: 156K
eth0: link up, 1000 Mb/s, full duplex, flow control disabled
sheevainstaller does not work for me on on two different Linux boxes :-(
I installed php5-cli and libftdi1. lsusb shows only 406:1060 (or so, not the one with 9...)
dcc downloads are enabled
Error: unable to open ftdi device: device not found
Runtime error, file "command.c", line 469:
**** openocd FAILED
**** Is the mini USB cable connected?
**** Try powering down, then replugging the Sheevaplug
on one of the linux boxes I get:
openocd: segfault at 80 ip 0058b50b sp bfdffdcc error 4 in libc-2.11.1.so[54b000+153000]
how to get my sheevaplug to life again?
