Buy or not?

Hi all,
I'm quite familiar with Linux, cross-compiling and so on - no problem.
I read a lot about failing PSUs and heat problems (Sheeva and Guru) - are those problems resolved or still present?
Considering it would just be to serve web pages and generally 'play around', what PC is a good buy?

Are you interested in enclosed solution, or open development platform?
I have in possession two D2Plugs ~month, so far no problem with heating or PSU. D2P is more expensive than Sheeva/Guru, but it has more features. I did not hear anything wrong about DreamPlug though.

I've had a Sheevaplug development kit running for over a year. I've replaced the power supply with an external one. It works well. But if I were wanting a new tiny computer now, I'd wait for this:
