The reason I built the .30-rc? kernels was that there was no "modern" kernel available at the time.  I don't really see a reason to build .31-rc? kernels.  As soon as an official .31 comes out I'll be building it.  In the meantime I'll keep revving the .30 point releases.

2.6.30.3 and 2.6.30.4 should be OK as long as /proc/sys/vm/mmap_min_addr is not set to zero.  I'm pretty sure they'll slip a more robust fix in 2.6.30.5 which will be out in a day or so.

I just checked and 2.6.30.5 will have an official fix for this.
