I use the README-PLUG-UPDATE.sh like

Code:
sudo ./README-PLUG-UPDATE.sh 2.6.38.4 --nandkernel

but had to install wget and updated the /etc/host to get the files., but forget to uncomment the environments in the script, crap. but then connected the sheevaplug to the computer and after the marvel> prompt, I do this...

Code:
setenv mainlineLinux yes
setenv arcNumber 2097
setenv bootargs rootfstype=jffs2 console=ttyS0,115200 mtdparts=orion_nand:0x400000@0x100000(uImage),0x1fb00000@0x500000(rootfs) rw root=/dev/mtdblock1 rw ip=192.168.1.1:192.168.1.254:192.168.1.254:255.255.255.0:DB88FXX81:eth0:none
saveenv

then run
Code:
run $(bootargs); nand read.e 0x800000 0x100000 0x400000; bootm 0x800000

and this is all I got.
Code:
## Error: "rootfstype=jffs2" not defined

NAND read: device 0 offset 0x100000, size 0x400000

Reading data from 0x4ff800 -- 100% complete.

Anybody knows how to fix it please!?

Oppss think it was a typo in the bootcmd, instead of
Code:
bootcmd=nand read.e 0x800000 0x100000 0x400000
it was
Code:
bootcmd=nand=read.e 0x800000 0x100000 0x400000

But now it doesn't autoboot, I have to enter to boot it
Code:
run $(bootargs); nand read.e 0x800000 0x100000 0x400000; bootm 0x800000

but it gives me the error
Code:
## Error: "rootfstype=jffs2" not defined

This is what print gives me
Code:
baudrate=115200
loads_echo=0
rootpath=/mnt/ARM_FS/

GOOD NEWS: I am half smort!!!

Found the sheevaplug installer, did what it told Me to do, but now booting the Kernel, gives Me garbage...

Like:
Code:
Starting kernel ...

Uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel.
$+˔BVj4*aq-jAz)IP,PjYRLi,)u
                                        _3gA\miJ:YF-(kQ;ve{_6;QqPEt5Fmq+4-JA(ksje1qGQsUEUEt-@ ,+b3

The environment console is chopped to:
Code:
console=a0000
e=ttyS0,115200 mtdparts=nand_mtd:0xc0000@0(uboot)ro,0x1ff00000@0x100000(root)
