minidlna on Guruplug?

I downloaded a minidlna from plugapps and extracted it to the root, in presumably the correct folders based on the folders it extracted to... Now when I try to run "minidlna" it doesn't do anything. Is there something I'm doing wrong??

Minidlna works according to the /etc/minidlna.conf file. You should edit it to your needs.
Take special attention to the following configuration lines :
— media_dir : should point to one or more directories with media files inside.
— db_dir : should point to /var/cache/minidlna instead of the default /tmp/…
— notify_interval : 60 or 120 is better than the default if you don’t want to wait 15min for your DLNA device to find the server!

Restart minidlna after modifying this file.
