While i was surfing on the debian pages i came across the following:

Hmm, either I have the worst luck (every time I try a link the server is having an outage) or the link is bad. Is anyone else having trouble getting to the link above?

I succeeded in getting wheezy working on my SheevaPlug, both on sd/mmc and on nand.

I couldn't get USB working.  I think the USB flash drive I tried was flakey.  Nand is working on ubifs.

Slightly OT here:

"thinking ahead" lately, I was curious how I might bring my Squeeze based SheevaPlug to Wheezy when the time will come.

As I'm a U*X n00b andf as I didn't find any upgrade guidelines for squeeze -> wheezy, yet, I think I adopted this one http://www.go2linux.org/how-to-upgrade-from-debian-lenny-to-squeeze, which explains the steps for Lenny to Squeeze. IMO the upgrade worked, though I did it on a spare plug with a fresh squeeze install only at that point in time.

When I have some spare time maybe I'll be "brave enough" to try it on my production device (after cloning the SDHC card, though  Wink). Or is there anything else I should consider, first?

Clone it or just get a new SD card.  The Debian installer will know what to do with it.  It just has problems with MTD NAND partitions.

I used to know some Unix--but that was 20 years ago.  I feel like I have forgotton more than I ever knew.  So I just feel my way.
