hard drive spin up

hard drive spin up.
So, when I start up my sheeva with my external hard drive and run "usb start", it doesn't work right away.
I need to either reboot the sheevaplug or have it plugged into my laptop then move it over quickly to the sheeva.

I'm not at the point yet where I will be booting off of this thing by default.

Right now I'm still using serial console etc, but in the future it seems like this will be a problem.

You need rootdelay=10 . This should give it 10 seconds to spin up.
