Hi,

I want to mount the guru plug on a robot that runs on a battery, I can supply 5v 4A easily, but I would preffer to not open the guruplug and just connect to it from one of its connectors, do you if it is possible to do?

Daniel.

From reading I`ve heard that some powered usb hub will run a plug without the power switched on.

so you need to just feed the 5v via the usb power rails.

It sounds like a solution, but a dirty one Smiley

Where does the external power supply the globalscale sales connects to on the guruplug?

I know that it as JTAG and UART ports & there is another connector that I couldn't recognize what it is, maybe something there?

That is an internal PSU.  The connection is on the board, inside the plastic case.
