2.6.30.3 new release

2.6.30.3 is now available.

Due to changes in vm security a change must be made in /etc/sysctl.d/10-process-security.conf.  vm.mmap_min_addr should be set to 32768 (This change is safe for any kernel version).  If this is not done it is likely that you will not be able to login remotely.  Although you should still be able to login as root on the main console.

The site is down at the moment while I attempt to recover from an XFS failure.  So much for the XFS experiment.  Back to JFS for me.  I've never had a problem with JFS.

OK, site is back up again.  It was actually a kvm virtual machine failure that caused an XFS corruption.  Kvm 86 is good.  Kvm 87 and 88 are bad.

Do this release support the cryptografic hardware that the original kernel supports? I think openvpn hardware accelerated would be pretty cool

No it doesn't support hardware crypto.  Openvpn hardware crypto would be nice.

You be the judge.  (I believe the 88F6281's CESA engine is the same as, or at least compatible with, the Orion5X engine.)
