I'm running the Alpha-6 Installer load -- 2.6.30-rc6 -- a bit dated today, but it serves my purposes well in most respects.  In one area, it seems deficient, though:  It doesn't have the modules to perform strong encryption.  On the Plug I get:
$ ls -l /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/kernel/crypto/
total 24
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 2009-06-26 23:45 async_tx
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6252 2009-05-20 07:47 pcbc.ko
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 8570 2009-05-20 07:47 xor.ko
whereas on my desktop Linux box, the same yields 40 modules, including twofish, serpent, sha*, cast, des, and of course, aes.  Is there some way to populate these on the Plug?

I have a related question on crypto, but I'll ask it in the crypto acceleration thread in the hardware section.

Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this.
