Hi,
While waiting for my GuruPlug to appear, I'm designing a circuit board to plug into the U-SNAP connector.
From the photos on the Globaltech website it looks like it's not a standard U-SNAP slot (41 mm wide), but just barely wide enough for the connector (should be about 20mm x 2mm with the pins on 2mm centers)
I'd appreciate some help. I need three dimensions for the opening in the case for the U-SNAP connector:
Width Height Depth (Outside of case to plastic of the connector.)
Could one or more current owners who have a vernier caliper measure and post?
It would also be useful to confirm that the connector is the standard U-SNAP (0.5 mm sq pin, 2mm pin-pin) receptacle.
Since there are probably manufacturing tolerances, it would be helpful if several people contributed.
Thanks.
