Newer kernel, RFS + uBoot for Guruplug ?

Does anyone know if there is a newer kernel, RFS or uImage that might actually give reliable WiFi when running Debian on a Guruplug ??

I constantly get kernel panics, but only when the wifi device is active (ifdown wlan0 cures this) which defeats the point of having the plug for me.

If someone is able to point me in the right direction, I would be most grateful.
