Hi,guys,after hacking kernel,I write a driver for tow green leds and two red leds, hope it helpful.
tested them under linux-2.6.30-rc6,and masked leds config in kirkwood_defconfig file,located in arch/arm/configs/
like this:
# CONFIG_MEMSTICK is not set
# CONFIG_ACCESSIBILITY is not set
CONFIG_NEW_LEDS=no
CONFIG_LEDS_CLASS=no

#
# LED drivers
#
# CONFIG_LEDS_PCA9532 is not set
CONFIG_LEDS_GPIO=no
CONFIG_LEDS_GPIO_PLATFORM=no
# CONFIG_LEDS_LP5521 is not set
# CONFIG_LEDS_PCA955X is not set
# CONFIG_LEDS_DAC124S085 is not set
# CONFIG_LEDS_BD2802 is not set

#
# LED Triggers
#
CONFIG_LEDS_TRIGGERS=no
CONFIG_LEDS_TRIGGER_HEARTBEAT=no
# CONFIG_LEDS_TRIGGER_BACKLIGHT is not set
CONFIG_LEDS_TRIGGER_DEFAULT_ON=no

* ledapp.tar.gz (1.07 KB - downloaded 200 times.)
* led_drv.tar.gz (1.64 KB - downloaded 190 times.)

Hello Victor,

I'm also interested in controlling additional LED's in the sheevaplug platform.

I think your post is very helpful but I just have one question though, are the files that you have attached (ledapp.tar.gz and led_drv.tar.gz) should be compiled inside the plug?

Hope you could provide help on how you were able to do it.

Thank you.
