Hi,
I also configured my system (sheevaplug) for playing MP3 from USB/SD and InterNet-Radio, but without
the cool interface you used (MPC/MPD).
I updated my sheevaplug for SD/MMC-Boot, installed debian on SDHC-Card, plugged my iMic-Soundcard in the USB-port,
installed mplayer (which could be used as player via console, but did install much gtk/x11-packets)
mplayer did generate clear sound while playing MP3 from SD or from radio-stream.
For testing I installed also mpg123/321 and mp3blaster, but mpg123/321 did generate flaky sound and
mp3blaster couldnt find a sound-device.
btw: this way I learned that mpg123 could play internet radio via pipe input :-) but the sound quality
with mplayer is much better

Guidol.
Can you be a little bit more specific?
I mean. You just connected iMic to the Sheeva USB and thats it?
No kernel recomplitation needed?
And which version of mplayer did you use? Did you get a binary dist or did compile it?
thanks a lot

I have updated the Wiki for users that want to use lighttpd instead of Apache, it works great with less install base and configuration hassle.

Care to elaborate on adding kernel sound support?
