After struggle of several months, I succeeded to modify the guruplug as a PPPOE ADSL router, which completely covers all functions of my home wired and wireless router. Followings are the simple description: *Debian Lenny + pppoe + shorewall *eth0 (ppp0) connects to ADSL modem * bridged ehe1 and uap0 as br0, and give it a local fixed IP address. A very, very powerful router. Usually, such powerful router will cost, at least, ? thousand dollars. My goal is to use it to monitor the connecting states of all computers connected my network, and control those if necessary. Hope this information will help you.
