Digitemp and Dallas 1-wire

Has anyone tried and been successful getting Digitemp, http://www.digitemp.com working using the DS9490R USB 1-wire master?

I got digitemp compiled on my plug, digitemp runs without errors and sees the DS9490R adapter, but not any 1-wire sensors on the bus.

I was able to get OWFS http://owfs.org/ (One Wire File System) working after installing a kernel that supports the FUSE module.  So I know digitemp should work, its not the hardware necessarily.

I am running the one-wire stuff on a 9490, talking to both a D2 and an 18B20-par.  Started out with the stock kernel and found that I could use owserver -u to meet my needs (then using owdir and owread).  Saved the trouble of setting up owfs.  Also running a wireless usb net link so makes a nice remote monitoring device.

Hi All,

I'm new using the Sheeva Plug, but happy to got it successfully working for monitoring several temperatures in my wood heating environment.

My configuration consists of: Sheeva plug with Debian Lenny on SD Card, USB to serial converter (with ftdi chipset), DS9097U with 5 pcs DS18S20 .

Using a shell script triggered every 10 minutes by crontab I get temperatures for outdoor, warm water and upper, middle, lower heating water storage.
