Hi,
My Guruplug is running an application that uses the shared memory in order to enable more performance. It's Zoneminder, and I would like to increase the shared memory settings to allow the app to have more images in memory, so the image analysis could be better. Right now, if I increase these settings (kernel.shmmax and kernel.shmall in the /etc/sysctl.conf file), the limit of time (fps) seems to be fixed, even if I double the memory size. After some changes, I wonder if I need to use a newer kernel version (it has 2.6.32), to make these changes work, or if I need to recompile it, or simply, if the shared memory settings are 'fixed' in these plugs, because changing their values does not make any effect in the limit.
Thanks & Happy Xmas!
