Moving from 2.6.35.1 to 2.6.35.2, my USB HDD does not automount on boot anymore, I need to manually mount it.

Has any config change caused this?

Anyone else seeing this?

EDIT:   Seen this is DMESG

The cause is probably not a config change.  CONFIG_CRYPTO_MANAGER_TESTS=y is the only update.

I'm guessing your swap file is on the device?  That'd be why the swap is causing a fault.  As soon as you figure out the mount the problem should go away.  Make sure you have an /sbin/fsck.ext4.

This kernel doesn't support my port multiplier (sil3726). 2.6.34.4 does. I've not tested 2.6.35.1.

Single sata disk works.

It's a regular plug with the Feroceon 88FR131 [56251311] revision 1

CONFIG_SATA_PMP=y is still set in 2.6.35.2.

A "regular" plug doesn't have sata....so is it a modified regular plug?

2.6.35.3 should be out soon, you can give that a try.  I try to keep two 2.6.X versions updated so people can work around issues like this.

hmm, a regular esata plug, not a guruplug. Sorry for the vagueness.
