Hi all,
We would like to use a PlugComputer to save our Personal Data.
The open source project is just beginning.

You can see the Taranis client and Taranis server (ubuntu version)

http://iwritesoftware.wordpress.com/2010/07/24/taranis-available/
http://willll.linux-quebec.ca/taranis/

Please help us to developp this solution on PlugComputer.
We don't have any PlugComputer to test our software and we need it

We will answer to any question.

your project seems interesting but I don't see myself installing such a script on y computer

Ideally it would be great to have your password saves once at home rather than but there is some security questions

I mean your script contains a big binary and it saves my password...can we trust you?

Without understanding exactly what the binary does I am not sure I want to trust my password to someone else

plus with the client...how are the data transferred across (encrypted?)

Also were are you in Quebec? I live in Montreal.

Hi ppmt, we are two developers
one in South of France and one in Montreal.

The architecture is composed by a firefox add on
and a RESTFULL server.
The binary file is generated from makeself, that's create a selfextrator from a bunch of files,
it is just a convenience, but you are right we will also distribute the plain files for security purpose

The project is open source,
and for the moment the data are not encrypted but will be

If you want to help us
Contact us by private message I will forward it to the Montreal guy

You are more likely to get testers if the complete source is in a tarball with the usual LICENSE, COPYING, files...

But that goo is binary.  Who wants to play with that?

Hi dattaway
We understand that the format is not the right one.
We will package another version soon.
