/dev/sda not reachable anymore

I was using my sheeva but it had some problem so I had to rebbot it. After that I am not able anymore to see /dev/sda[1 and 2] in it. I have picked up 2 logs and they are here.
could anybody help me?

Looks like no USB devices are being detected. Are you sure your USB drive is powering up (does it have a light or can you hear it spinning?)?

Yes, there is a light and it is turned on. I will try to format the HD to see if the problem is a damaged sector or someting like it..
