how to add heartbeat into trigger

 cat /sys/class/leds/plug\:green\:health/trigger

result:
none nand-disk timer [default-on] mmc0

doed not have heartbeat value. how can i add into it. i used Vi or nano to add heartbeat into this trigger file. it does not allow me to change.

any idea.

You need to add the trigger during kernel compilation. Do you have the tools for compiling a new kernel for your plug? They are usually included in your Development Kit disc.

If you have purchased a plug, then more or less your plug provider has also given out a development disc which contains relevant documentation to help you out. Otherwise, there are also instructions from PlugWiki on how to perform kernel compilation:
