Ok.  This is the second time I had to reflash the kernel.  The first time I chalked it up to one of the dozen things I did before I rebooted.  I was ok with that.  This time I had it running all day and I rebooted it and stopped it at the uboot prompt.  I was called away and left it there for about 2 hours.  I came back unplugged it and plugged it back in and it couldn't read the kernel out of the flash.  I had to tftpboot it and reflash.   Anyone else experience anything like this?

Try these commands at the uBoot prompt; it skips bad blocks if encounters any.

>>setenv bootargs 'console=ttyS0,115200 mtdparts=nand_flash:0x400000@0x100000(uImage)ro,0x1fC00000@0x500000(rootfs) root=/dev/mtdblock2'
>>setenv bootcmd 'nand read.e 0x800000 0x100000 0x400000; bootm 0x800000'
>> saveenv
>> reset
