I just got my GuruPlug Plus after using a SheevaPlug for the last 8 months. I currently set it up as transparent bridge and have it performing netflow collection and analysis along with IDS. I wrote a small php front end to the data.

More details can be seen here: http://www.instructables.com/id/project-DINO-a-Drop-In-Network-Observer/

Very impressive, thankyou.
I'd like to try this on my OpenRD client box.
Is it possible to download the instructions for this without becoming a premium member of instructables?
Best regards, David.

Hey David  - Thanks for looking at the instructable. I believe you can click through one at a time to see the instructions without logging in. And free memberships can see all steps as well if you feel like making one.

Either way I'd like to release it as a open source project in a few days. I want to improve the code a little before hand .

I'll post again when the code is ready.

Cheers,
-Joe

I have packaged this up as an RPM and you can download it here:

Admittedly I have had mixed success with it on my guru plug, it core dumps a ton! I am waiting for my JTAG to come in, I'll rebuild the guru to run off of Fedora on a SD card and see if that helps.

Thanks for looking,

-Joe
