Hi guys,

i was wondering if anyone can help me with scripting.

is there some way that i can make startup scripts conditional?

basically i dont always use my plug for the same thing, and to save power i dont always have all my drives connected.

basically, when i want to listen to music, i switch my music hard drive on and it automounts. the problem is twonky / squeezebox server for example dont like it when the drives not connected and seems to wipe my library.

So is there a way that i can get the startup scripts for certain apps to only activate only certain conditions? like a uuid of a drive being mounted. or just a directory being accessable for example?

thanks.

man udev will show you the options for what you desire.
/etc/udev is the configuration directory
