Hello,

I'm very new to plug computing, Linux, etc., but I really hope you guys can assist.

I have a Sheevaplug that I'm going to set up as a Squeezeplug.  After I was initially able to access the plug via serial to USB PuTTY, I checked my U-boot version and found it to be 3.4.16.  I downloaded the .bin for 3.4.23 from this site and followed instructions to flash.  Everything seemed to go OK, but when I entered Marvell>> reset, the plug hung up.  Subsequent hard power offs have left the plug unresponsive to IP or serial command.  Only a single light is lit on the Plug, the one closest to the power cord.

Did I brick my Plug?

Anyone else?

I'm using the plug to run SqueezeServer, I was assisted by the fellow that wrote the steps at the following link.

http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/SqueezePlug#SqueezePlugRescue-System

I did exactly what was written and it worked perfectly!  Let me know if this helps.

Sorry, busy week. But I finally got it running again.
Thank you for your help.

Normally I use Suse, but I made an Ubuntu USB-stick. I installed libftdi1, libftdi-dev and the libusb-stuff. Then I downloaded the guruplug-installer http://www.plugcomputer.org/index.php/us/resources/downloads?func=fileinfo&id=65.
Right after powering up the guru, I startet "sudo runme.sh openocd" and it worked!
