Which Debian distro: Lenny or squeeze?

I would like to move my system to SD card but as I have no previous experience
with Debian I am not sure which version to choose. Any suggestions?

I try to upgrade uboat however something went wrong and now Plug does nor boot
at all -- no Marvell>> prompt. Is there any rescue procedure in such hopless situation?

Thanks for help. Almost works. Sheeva boots but cannot login (as root)

I installed Lenny as planned and dont't bother about Ubuntu on NAND any more.

There were some minor problems as I used Ext3 first and Debian failed to find
root system... It works with Ext2 only? Perhaps one should emphasise
this in the documentation  (i.e.   http://www.cyrius.com/debian/kirkwood/sheevaplug/unpack.html)

Well, the docs give the command to create an ext2 fs.  If you change the docs, there's no guarantee that it will still work.

But yes, good point.  When/if I update the tar ball the next time, I'll make sure ext3 works too.

What is the real difference between the sheevaplug RFS and the guruplug RTS, if any ?.

Looking at the installer the only difference I can see is installing a few Bluetooth extras.
So can I move over my SD card install from the Sheevaplug and convert it for the Guruplug ?

I don't know since I don't have a GuruPlug.  Maybe someone else can report or you can try it and report back.

I'm currently running squeeze with a custom kernel on an OpenRD-Client (necessary because the standard kernel doesn't support sound and video under squeeze).  I like the fact that squeeze has a LOT of packages available to it.

Once you put squeeze on the GuruPlug, did you have any trouble with the module & shell script that enable wireless?  I'd like my GuruPlug to route between my wired and wireless networks as well as the outside world.

FYI: I've updated the tar ball now and both ext2 and ext3 should work.
