I am about to buy some storage for my sheevaplug, but need some advice before I spend the money.
I am currently running Debian Squeeze on the plug and have an older 120 gb WD passport and a 1 TB WD MyBook hooked up via a usb hub. The passport works fine, but the MyBook constantly locks up the system to the point of having to do a hard reboot with the reset switch.
I am thinking about getting the Cavalry 2 bay usb dock
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822101176 for storage and the ability to add another drive for data backup, but I am worried that the plug will have problems recognizing both drives or have issues like the MyBook.
Ideally, I'd like to have the drives set up in either a RAID mirror config or rsync'ed. Would I be better with 2 separate portable drives like the passport or would the Cavalry dock work ok?
