Does anybody has any information about new version of (Ionics) Stratus - PlugComputer Plus (http://www.ionicsplug.com/stratus.html) - Developer’s Kit version. Is it possible to order it now or when it will be possible. If anybody has already ordered - please let me know HOW Huh I'm trying to contact Ioincs, but without success.....

I think the only one you can order right now is the Numbus 100 (http://www.ionicsplug.com/nimbus100.html). If you look on the right side, there's an order now button. The interface is clunky and the purchase has to go through PayPal. The other models don't have the order now button.

Please let us know if you hear anything. I would LOVE a 2ghz plug. Would really speed up my squeezebox server rig a bit. However, it does annoy me a bit that there is no esata option. I was hoping to be able to move from my 1.2ghz USB drive based system to a 2ghz esata based system. I don't need bluetooth, wifi, etc.... just the gigabit ethernet.

Actually, after browsing their site, I found the CIRRUS plug. This is EXACTLY what I want. I hope they make it available soon.

Hi, I just posted this on another thread too but seems like its worth noting here as well. I got this after I emailed Ionics:

"Thank you for your interest in our plug computers. You must have visited already our website http://www.ionicsplug.com and read through the different models and their features. The Nimbus 100, Nimbus 200, Stratus and Cirrus can now be ordered. Except for the Nimbus 100, which can be ordered online, the other models will have to be ordered through this email for now. May I know your intended application of the unit for our information. Let me also know how many you need so I can send you a quote for that."
