Hi,

I know that it is possible with open das-boot to specify a bitmap to display while booting (along with the kernel option to preserve the FB while booting the operating system.

Is this possible with the Sheevaplug and the u-boot provided by Marvell?

Regards

Not to sound too dense Smiley; but, what frame buffer?  There is no hardware (graphics/video chipset and memory) included in the plug that could have a bitmap copied into it.

I figured that might be the case :-) I was kind of hoping that it could some how know about any attached framebuffer devices (via usb) - but thinking it about it again, there's not really anyway it *could* know about that...
