Anyone managed to get a c# compiler to work?

followed the guide here:
http://plugcomputer.org/plugwiki/index.php/Running_.Net_and_ASP.Net_applications

I just get a segmentation fault and an exit code of 139.

uname -a:
Linux SheevaPlug 2.6.30.2 #11 PREEMPT Wed Jul 22 19:53:31 MDT 2009 armv5tel GNU/Linux

Any pointers much appreciated.

Cheers

As for me the example on the wiki is O.K. :

root@wumzi:~# gmcs helloworld.cs
root@wumzi:~# mono helloworld.exe
Hello World

But I also experienced a Segmentation Fault like yours with qemu ....

I'm using Debian Squeeze:

uname -a
Linux wumzi 2.6.32-trunk-kirkwood #1 Mon Jan 11 10:57:12 UTC 2010 armv5tel GNU/Linux

After doing a bit of research its something to do with Jaunty... Theres a bug which they fixed in karmic but theres some hardware issue that the sheevaplug cant get ubuntu karmic... Anyway the solution seems to be build the new mono yourself.

Will verify this once ive got it built

Thanks for the reply

Can confirm that this approach works for those that have upgraded the default image and want to run c# your going to have to upgrade and build mono as outlined in a previous post. Thanks all for your help!!
