Hi,
Loving the Sheevaplug, it's taken over the role of home server (file server, web server, squeezebox server, torrent client, etc) and doing a great job.
I'm having problems getting the audio to work on a Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000, linky:
http://www.google.com/search?q=Logitech+QuickCam+Pro+9000 .
The video is working great (was plug and play once I had worked out the vlc commandline), but the /dev/audiox device isn't being created when the camera is plugged in. The relevant part from /var/log/syslog is below. There's nothing else suspicious in the syslog.
The problem is the same whether it's plugged straight into the usb socket on the sheevaplug or onto a hub. A restart (I know, I know!) hasn't helped either.
Any ideas or suggestions on how to troubleshoot this further, please?
Regards, Ed.
Edit to add: running Jaunty 9.04 with all updates.
