Hi,
I'm looking for a 0-conf vpn i could launch from the plug.
Then i could sync and access content between several plug and also computers.
I found the following on the web:
p2pvpn
http://p2pvpn.org/documentation.html#instLin
N2n vpn
social vpn
http://socialvpn.wordpress.com/
wippien
http://www.wippien.com/
Do you know if one of these has been ported on ARM?
I couldn't find out...
anyone using it?
Thank you

0-conf VPN is a contradiction in terms. If it is really 0-conf then you don't know what you are connecting to, so you will get V(not-so-P)N. If there is a reasonable protection then it can not be 0-conf, you will at least need some kind of authentication. I think before you choose software you should have more specific requirements.
What kind of "porting on ARM" are you asking about? For example, P2PVPN clearly says it is written in Java. For the rest, are you asking whether it would run on ARM at all or are you looking for binary packages for ARM? In the latter case what OS/Distribution/version? To get a specific answer you would have to ask a specific question.

I would like to make on of these solutions run on a sheevaplug.
I will try the java solution but as you know the JVM package is very big... and it can be slow.
I would rather have a compiled package.
So the distrib would be the standard or at least comatible with the plug.
I don't care about the rest as i just want to make a shared 0-conf nas.
For sure authentication will be configured but i don't want to have to configure network.
Then it can be an easy to deploy nas. As you see there is a real need or such function wouldn't exist...
Thank you,
