It looks like someone is developing the sheevaplug with a product called the Tonido Plug. The software looks really good though, and they offer it for download for free. The only problem is, they only offer it in the i686 architecture and no source code. I'm really interested in the jukebox, as all the jukebox options I've found either require Java or PHP (no thanks).

No, tonidoplug.com is the site for their hardware, I doubt many of us would be interested in that as we already own a sheevaplug. I am interested in getting an arm package so I can install their software from tonido.com on my plug.

I asked them about an arm package, and they gave me the link to the arm package. The software is quite good, as far as I've been able to tell. You can request to be a tester as well at http://www.tonido.com/forum.

It sounds like they're planning on charging for the plug version, so you might as well get in on it as a tester if they'll give it to you for free! The music jukebox in particular seems quite good.

Nice. Im using Tonido with my normal server and I have to say Im impressed with the apps, especially with the jukebox. It should be interesting if it became an open platform in the future

What OS are you running? I'm running Debian on my Sheevaplug, but I'd be very interested in running Tonido, if possible.

Tonido will run on the Sheeva without problems, but you have to buy a license of 30 dollar. I think it is well worth it.
