Cryptsetup: Segmentation fault

Hi,
i have a problem with the cryptosetup command. Every time i get an "segmentation fault". I tried it with the 2.6.31.12 and the 2.6.32.4  firmware. Only with the modified firmware from calamari (http://plugcomputer.org/plugforum/index.php?topic=425.msg4164#msg4164) cryptosetup and losetup works.

As Lt_flash noted, this might be related to the tools used to build the kernels. Here's a link to the post:

I'm not sure which tools cbxbiker61 uses to build his kernels, but maybe that's the reason for the segfaults.

oh ok. Do you know an other source for precompiled kernels with working cryptosetup?

Unfortunately I don't know of an alternative source. But I've asked cbxbiker61 about this, maybe he can check if there's a newer version of the tools he could use.

Well, I already recompiled latest 2.6.32.2 without any problems using that tools I mentioned AND using initial configuration file provided by someone in this topic. If you just use vanilla kernel, do menuconfig and create config from a scratch - it fails with segfault. So unzip vanilla kernel, apply 4 patches and then copy provided config file to .config file, and then you can make menuconfig and compile kernel as usual. I didn't dig deeper in that problem trying to figure out what kernel config options must be on to produce stable kernel, I just use that config file as a base and then change options to suit my needs - and it works.
