2.6.32.3 is now available. 2.6.31.11 is also available in case .32 exhibits any problems.

Kernel and modules are available from the following location:

http://sheeva.with-linux.com/sheeva/

Features IPV6, CIFS, NFS4, EXT3, EXT4, JFS, XFS, FUSE(for ntfs-3g), UBIFS, usb-serial, uvcvideo, iptables, appletalk, bluetooth, v4l and ppp.

Look at your bootcmd and env variables.  You should be able to figure out where it loads the kernel from there.

Additionally the symlink should probably be a hard link.  I've updated the README* to indicate this.

It's supported in the sense that support is "built" so that people can test it.  I don't know of anyone having great success with it though.

If you know of any wonderful patches that would get it working, I'd be happy to take a look at them.

I am trying to build oss4.2 for soundsupport but when doing 'make install' in my oss4.2 build directory it wants access to
/lib/modules/2.6.32.3/build, a dead link to /home/kelly/src/Sheeva/SheevaPlug_LSP/Sources/linux-2.6.30.2-work,
your kernel-source I assume, but it is dead and not linking anywhere anymore, and the same goes for /lib/modules/2.6.32.3/source.

So I would very much like to get my hands on the source.

Or perhaps I can recreate the source with the .config and kernel-sources from somewhere else?

The kernel sources are from kernel.org.  Apply the patches in the patches dir and use the sheeva-2.6.32.3.config.

The patches seem to be mostly related to SD card issues -- do they do anything else?  I'm presently using a custom 2.6.32.3 kernel I compiled from the unmodified kernel.org sources and wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything important (I'm booting off USB rather than SD, so I don't need those tweaks).

I would appreciate if you could compile upcoming kernel's with:

CONFIG_USB_NET_DM9601=m

Alot of these $10 cheap chinese ebay USB NIC's are using this chip.
